Dylan Dreyer has revealed what Sheinelle Jones is doing during her absence from the 3rd hour show today.
While you talk to E! News In the Kentucky Derby in 2025 in Churchill Downs in Louisville on Saturday, May 3, the 43-year-old American meteorologist opened his co-host’s continuous absence under a “Family Health.”
When she talks about Jones, Dreyer shared, “She is doing well. She’s hanging in there. We pray for her and her family. You know she’s just going through a hard time with her family.”
“We talk to her every day. One of us on the team talks to her every single day and we are there to support her and we welcome her with open arms, the other she can get back to us,” she added.
For the Unnivered, Jones, who hosts the 3rd hour with Dreyer, Al Roker and Craig Melvin, has been absent from the show since December 2024.
Remarkably, she talked about her absence in January on Instagram by writing, “I sincerely appreciate all of you who have reached out while I have been absent from the show. I want to share with you that I take time to tackle a family health material.”
“It’s not lost on me how lucky I am to have not only the support of my day -show family, but also to have you all. Your kindness means so much to me. I’ll see you soon,” Jones said.
It is relevant to mention that in a speech with Entertainment weekly Earlier this month, Carson Daly said he is not sure of the 47-year-old American journalist’s return to the show.
