  • Dynabook and NEC Tossing Industry’s trends by bringing back optical drives
  • The Dynabook T-Series use both Blu-ray Disc Drive and DVD Super Multi-Drive
  • NEC LAVIE N16 SELECT ONLY DVD Super Multi-Drive

In somewhat surprising news, DYNABook has released its T-series (originally in Japanese) with 13 generation of Intel processors, while NEC has introduced Lavie N16 (also in Japanese), with a mix of AMD Ryzen 7 and Intel 12th generation processors.

The surprising part is that these business -bearable computers from the year of our Lord 2025 contain built -in optical drives. Bucking the trend for manufacturers prioritize lightweight portability rather than physical media playback.
