The defense champion Philadelphia Eagles is one of only two teams that enter the week 5 of the season with an unnoticed record.

But AJ Brown, the team’s Star Wide receiver, has only a touchdown reception during the first four games. Brown’s apparent frustration seemed to reach a rocker point after he finished Eagles’ week 4 victory over Tampa Bay Buccaneers with only seven receiving yards on two catches.

“If you are not welcomed, not listened to, pull back calmly. Don’t make a scene. Shape on your shoulders and be on the way,” posted Brown on social media Sunday.

Brown’s post seemed to be a paraphrase of a Bible verse, Matteus 10:14.

The 2021 season marked the only time Brown ended a year shortly after the 1,000-yard brand. He appeared in 13 matches with Tennessee Titans that year.

The 28-year-old refused to talk to journalists after the 31-25 win in Tampa, Florida. Philly’s offensive concerns became noticeable in the second half of week 4 as the device could not complete a passport in the last two quarters.

On Wednesday, Brown spoke with the media and approached his cryptic posts. The three-time pro bowler took responsibility for letting his feelings flood.

“Obviously, Sunday after the game, I let my frustrations boil over,” Brown said. “I didn’t talk to the media. I had the chance to fix my frustrations and I continued to let them boil over. It’s on me and I take full accountability for it.”

He also made it clear that his post “was not aimed at anyone” within the Eagles organization.

“My message on Twitter wasn’t aimed at anyone in the building. Not my trainer, not my quarterback, GM, no one. That’s why I take full accountability. I also have open communication with all my coaches and my quarterback.”

Brown has a story of being vocal about his apparent dissatisfaction with his role in Eagles’ violation, which has given rise to concern about whether he will play anywhere else before rather than later.

Eagles -coach Nick Sirianni troubled these concerns.

“I question nothing about his desire to play good football, his desire to be a good teammate, his desire to be here,” Sirianni said on Monday.

Eagles rewarded Brown with a three-year contract extension ahead of the 2024 season.
