Dillon reflected on the “cool experience” in a recent conversation with Pakinomist Digital.
“It was cool. I had never met a president before. Cool experience. I’ve never once met Brett Favre before that,” Dillon said. “It was a cool experience. If you are called by a president no matter who you voted for, whatever it may be, it’s just a cool experience in itself.
“Glad to have been there, been able to meet him, take pictures, things like that. I had never been in a rally and got the full experience, but definitely cool, certainly.”

Dillon’s comments repeated them from the new teammate Saquon Barkley. Barkley played a round of golf with Trump in April, shortly before Eagles visited Trump in the White House and took those who were disappointed with him.
“Lol some people are really disturbed because I played golf and flew to the White House with the president,” posted Barkley to X shortly after the round. “Maybe I’m just respecting the office, not a tough concept to understand. Just golf with Obama not too long ago … and looks forward to ending my round with Trump! Now you have to get out of my mentions with all this policy and have a great day.”
