Just over two months ago, 36-year-old Brandon Graham was considering whether he had played his last NFL snap after tipping his triceps.
Shortly after the injury, Philadelphia Eagles Pass Rusher admitted emotionally that it “pointed to” that his career did not end his own terms.

Graham even admitted that he was “content” if he never had to play another – but he seems to have turned course.

During the Super Bowl Lix opening evening in New Orleans, Graham said he “is doing well” and is “excited to be able to play in this game.”
Graham has several obstacles to jump to play – a successful week’s practice is pretty important, but Graham said he “just enjoys the moment.”
“When I was injured, I saw it as an opportunity,” he said in terms of playing in the Super Bowl. “I talked to people and they said it was an opportunity. I rehabbed as hard as I could … So when time was in, they would give me the chance.”

Trump expected to join the Super Bowl Lix in New Orleans
Graham was on the losing side of the Super Bowl two years ago against Kansas City, as he had little influence under his 18 defensive snaps on a smooth field that made it rush the passing for everyone.
However, he caused the strip bag against Tom Brady in the Super Bowl Lii, who catapulted the birds to that title.

Graham’s return would give an emotional boost, but he hopes to deliver more than that. He had 3.5 sacks in his 11 games before he was injured.

“If they didn’t feel like I could bring something, they wouldn’t waste their time activating me,” he said.
