Debates about Philadelphia Eagles Signature Map Yardage “Tush Push”, which is also called jointly as “Brotherly Shove”, was reigned after a week 2 match in Kansas City.
NFL sent a video to each team’s head coach and general leaders this week. The video highlighted violations before snap. The Washington Post was the first to report on the details of what the tape depicted.
According to the report, it was decided that one of the Eagles “Tush Push” attempts during last Sunday’s 20-17 victory over Chiefs should have been marked.

The training tapes are not new. The weekly videos effectively function as a tool for analyzing the latest slate of NFL games.
The play, which is under control from last week’s game at Arrowhead Stadium, happened on a third down in the fourth quarter. Eagles Quarterback Jalen hurt the end of the third-and-1 game with less than six minutes left in the game.

Fans and others who saw Eagles ‘recent encounter with Chiefs argued that Eagles’ offensive guards moved before Phily’s center did. These accusations were exacerbated by the hint that Eagles Center Cameron Jurgens originally rose in the neutral zone, which would incur an offside punishment.

NFL Vice President for Official Education and Development Ramon George acknowledged that at least one Eagles Lineman committed a violation before Snap. Game officials did not punish the eagles on the play.
“Whenever we have this situation, we are in short yardage, we know we want to make sure we serve these plays – the offensive team must be perfect in all aspects,” George noted in the video according to The Post.

“We want to work it tight. We want to be black and white and be as tight as we can be when we get into this situation where teams are in the herd position and we have to act as except, movement early.
“Before snap, it seems we have the movement of the right guard. We also have movement coming over from the defensive side. This is a very hard game to work. I get it.”
Fox Sports Rules Analyst Dean Blandino expressed frustration over the state of “tush push” and said he was “done” with the piece because of the level of difficulty associated with being able to function consistently.
Last year, Green Bay Packers submitted a proposal to ban “Tush Push.” The play eventually survived in the at least 2025 season after NFL owners fell under the required 24-votes threshold to ban it.
ESPN reported that “Tush Push” was used on only 0.28% of the total plays during the 2024 season.
