Saquon Barkley found the end zone three times for its Philadelphia Eagles as the Walloped Washington commanders of the NFC championship to cement their place in the Super Bowl Lix.
But it was the last touchdown that was scored for Philadelphia that made Barkley jump and scream with joy, and there is a big reason for it.
Will Shipley, Rookie out of Clemson, is the third string that runs back for Eagles. When Barkley got the brother and veteran Kenneth Gainwell, who spells him for snaps throughout the season, Shipley has mainly played special teams while he has had time in blowers.

Well, a blow -out win is what happened at Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday, and Shipley got the moment he could put the statistics a little. But what happened was a career first for the young people who ran back when he scored his first NFL touchdown ever.

He went ballist on the sidelines, jumping up and down and screaming while Shipley celebrated on the field. And what was even more impressive than two-yard score was Shipley’s 57-Yard strike down the field that put Eagles in the red zone again.
Shipley had only 82 yards on 30 attempts in the regular season and picked up two first downturns in the process. He played 58% of the special teams’ snaps and only 6% on offense.

However, Barkley’s reaction shows how much of a team player he is when he was hyped for his running back bedroom partner to make his time shine on the playoffs.
This is nothing new for Barkley in his first year of Eagles either, as he famously told head coach Nick Sirianni to allow the backups to have their time on the field against his former New York Giants despite a career high.
“It’s all good,” he told Sirianni. “I’m good. I promise. I’d rather see the young boys eating.”
Barkley would later smash this record anyway, ripping a total of 255 meters against Los Angeles Rams on November 24, 2024, which was the ninth tallest dangerous yardage in a single game in NFL history.

Everyone ate for Eagles in this divisional demolition, and even though he wasn’t on the field, Barkley loved every second of his teammates, easy. “
