“I feel almost a little offended because we work so hard on that spectacle. The amount of things we’ve examined how to train this game, the basic elements that are a thousand playing out there, but it comes to how you learn the basic elements and how the players go through and do with the basic elements.”

He continued, “It’s a little insulting to say, ‘We’re good at it, so it’s automatic.’ We are really working hard on it.

“Tush Push” has become a favorite of Philadelphia in the red zone. Quarterback Jalen Hurts scored the first touchdown of Super Bowl Lix using the piece. But for some around the league, the play has become a problem.

Packers General Manager Brian Gute Art Said Tuesday that his team submitted a proposal to ban the play, which will be reviewed by the NFL competition committee. The play has been discussed in the past, but this marks the first formal complaint to ban it all together.

Other teams have tried to use the piece, but none as successful as Eagles.

And Sirianni doesn’t think they should be punished for it.

“There’s just as much time put into it. The fact that it’s a successful game for Eagles and people will remove it, I think’s a little unreasonable.”
