It seems that any speculation that the Philadelphia Eagles do not want to visit the president is out of the window.

There were rumors that floated shortly after the birds won the Super Bowl that they would not attend the White House to celebrate the victory, but they were mixed.

President Donald Trump expanded the invitation and the team goes to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. on April 28.

“I’m really excited to go, yes. What honor. What honor to be able to go to the White House. Teams that have been able to win championships have been doing it for a long time and I am really honored to go and really excited to go,” he said this week.

Trump, who was present for the game, predicted that Chiefs would do history, but Eagles took an early lead and never looked back.

Florida Panthers recently visited the president to celebrate their Stanley Cup win last summer, and Los Angeles Dodgers will also visit next Sunday after defeating New York Yankees in the World Series back in October.
