ECP calls Omar Ayub the 4th.

The Election Commission in Pakistan (ECP) has called on the opposition leader in the National Assembly Omar Ayub on June 4 in a disqualification reference filed against him by his Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) rival.

The ECP will hear the reference against the PTI leader on June 4 at. 10. The case against Ayub was brought by his rival candidate Babar Nawaz. PML-N supported a candidate in the 2024 parliamentary elections sent a reference to the National Assembly’s Speaker Ayaz Sadiq, who forwarded it to the ECP.

Babar Nawaz claimed that Omar Ayub had not revealed all his assets in the details submitted to ECP. He requested that Omar Ayub be disqualified in accordance with Article 62, 63.
