The Department of School Education and Reading (SELD) Sindh has announced a holiday on Saturday, March 22, in compliance with YouM-E-Hazrat Ali (RA).
According to a review issued on Tuesday, all public and private schools and colleges in Sindh remain closed on this day (Ramazan 21).
The announcement, also shared on X, quoted the decision that was made during the Sub -Committee Meeting in the Management Committee for Education, held on November 28, 2024.
It stated that all educational institutions under the administrative control of the school’s education and literacy, Sindh’s government, will remain closed on March 22, 2025 for YouM-E-Hazrat Ali (RA).
Meanwhile, Muslims over Pakistan Youm-E-Ali (RA) observe with devotion, while authorities have implemented strict security measures to ensure public security.
In Karachi, the central procession at Nishtar Park begins and ends at Imambargah Hussainia in Kharadar with traffic derivations in place.
In addition, the government has implemented additional surveillance cameras to improve security. In Islamabad, the most important procession from Imambargah Qasar Zainabya starts.
