At least eight people were killed and two other critically wounded after their van threw themselves into a gap in the Kasur district on Friday.
The accident took place near Khara Morr on Raiwind Road. The passengers from the bad van were members of a music group. They were on their way back from Raiwind after having a feature.
Rescue officials said the accident happened when the vehicle went out of the way and crashed into the water.
The rescue officials also said that the accident occurred due to the negligence of the driver who was probably dropping off while driving.
Næsteams rushed to the stage and transferred the bodies and they wounded to Bulleh Shah District Hospital.
The hospital’s sources said that two of the wounded are in critical condition.
Police told Pakinomist News that the studies had been launched and the identification process had started.
At least 18 people lost their lives and 1,496 others sustained injuries in 1,306 traffic accidents in all districts in Punjab over the past 24 hours, according to The news report.
Out of injuries, 612 people with serious injuries were moved to various hospitals, according to the report. Meanwhile, 884 victims with easier injuries were treated at the incident of rescue medicine teams.
