- Elden Ring Nightreign finally gets a proper duos mode this week
- The update falls on July 30 with several life -quality changes
- The latest round of Everdark SOVEREIGN FIGHTS also arrives on July 31
The clouds share and the sky shines through this week, which Elden Ring Nightreign is finally ready to get one of its most requested features, Duo expeditions, in this week’s update.
Advertised via the official Elden Ring X / Twitter account, the update is set to land on July 30 to PS5, Xbox Series X | S and PC. Duo Expeditions will finally leave groups of two queuing in a game without the need to carry a third random player.
A proper Duos mode was originally not scheduled to Elden Ring Nightreign, But after feedback, developer from software initially confirmed that a Duos mode would reach a later date shortly after launch.

Unfortunately we have no details of how Nightreign will be balanced to support a party of two. Although after launching, Solo expeditions were made much more manageable in a patch that reduced the enemy’s health, increased Rune acquisition and used Buffs unique to solo playthroughs. It is likely that we see a half-way house between Solo and Full-Squad Expeditions here, then.
However, duo expeditions are not the only thing to look forward to in this week’s patch. Players can also expect some quality of life functions. In a follow -up item, the official Elden Ring X / Twitter account confirmed relic filtration gets a much needed overhaul, where players are now able to sort and search for relics to a more granular degree.
Finally, from -software has confirmed that the latest round of Everdark SOVEREIGN managers (even harder versions of the existing night words) is set to arrive on July 31. These will be tricephalos, augur, equivalent animal and crack in the fog.
