Ellen DeGeneres is “Heart Bridge” over the death of his dog, Augie.
By going to her Instagram grip on Saturday, the 67-year-old retired comedian announced the death of her dog, which she saved 12 years ago.
“We had to say goodbye to Augie yesterday. We saved him 12 years ago and he was so grateful,” Elle wrote while sharing a number of photos by Augie.
“He gave us so much love. He will be missed. There will never be someone else like him,” she added.
In one of the shared pictures, Ellen’s partner, Portia de Rossi, can be seen Kos with the little dog.
A few days later, the comedian returned to Instagram and released a clip of herself, Portia, and Augie filmed a month before his death.
“We filmed this last month and planned to send it today,” she wrote in the caption.
“I don’t care what Portia says, please don’t call me the deal that the queen loves you, Augie,” Ellen added.
