Emily Blunt revealed where “quick” she and Dwayne Johnson became friends at Smashing machine set, “as an instant secret language.”
The WWE Star and Devil carries Prada Actress spoke honestly about their cute ties at the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival.
During a Q&A session with “in conversation with…” panel, Smashing machine Costars were asked about chemistry.
“We became just as fast friends as an instant secret language that I think you feel with certain people you work with,” Emily said.
“We just talked and shared our souls. And I just was really taken off, I assume how different he was from what I had imagined,” she remembered their time while she was busy on sets
“He was so gentle and quite interior and kind of contemplative and friendly, just easy. As, so nice to be around, fun and fast, all these qualities,” Emily geared.
Dawyne did not hold back from praising Emily and joining her and saying, “I also want to give Emily her flowers. She is one of the greatest actors of our time – throughout the years. And also one of my best friends.”
“To go to the place we should go, you need love, and then you need to trust. And love and confidence allow for vulnerability. We couldn’t have done it without this love and trust and vulnerability as we have.”
“I want to thank you because you are the biggest,” he added.
