Emma Heming is reminiscent of heartbreaking moment by Bruce Willis’s dementia diagnosis

Bruce Willis’ wife says their future ‘disappeared’ after dementia diagnosis

Emma Heming opened up for shocking time when she learned that her husband Bruce Willis was diagnosed with dementia.

During a recent performance on Women’s Alzheimer’s Movement Forum in Los Angeles, the entrepreneur and the author shared how her future plans with Bruce disappeared in thin air after his frontotemporal dementia diagnosis in 2022.

The founder of Make Time Wellness, who was invited to share his care journey at the event, revealed that there was “no plan, no guidance, no hope, just shock”

“The day Bruce got his diagnosis, we left the medical office with a pamphlet and a hollow goodbye. No plan, no guidance, no hope, just shock,” she admitted.

Emma continued to say, “The future we imagined simply disappeared, and I was back trying to keep my family together, raising our two young daughters and nurturing the man I love while navigating in an illness I hardly understood.”

“I felt lost, isolated and scared,” Emma admitted, “adding,” what I needed at that moment by that deal was not just medical information. I needed someone to see me in the eye and say, “this feels impossible right now, but you will find your foot. You will survive this and you will grow because of it. ”” ”

It is relevant to mention that Emma tied the knot with Bruce in 2009, and they greeted two daughters Mabel Ray Willis, 13, and Evelyn Penn Willis, 11.
