Emma Roberts lets fans in on her holiday hair routine with low maintenance.
The actress, 34, began by admitting that she is trying to continue without washing her hair on vacations as long as possible.
“I am not trying to wash my hair on vacation. I put my hair in braids and jump in the ocean. That’s what I do instead of shampoo and conditioner,” Roberts told Popsugar.
The actress added that one of the reasons behind it was her reluctance to use resort products on her freshly colored “Sunrise Red” hair.
“I’ve washed my hair when I’ve just dyed it and it’s become a crazy color. When I have blonde hair, it turns yellow and when I’ve had red hair, it all washes out. So I get so scared to really give my hair a real wash,” she said the expired.
She admitted that she avoids washing her hair while she was on vacation for up to five days. “I’m trying to get a blowout the day before I go for vacation, and then I run that blowout in the dry shampoo end,” Roberts said.
“I don’t care, I’m just dry -mutilation and jumping in the sea,” she added. “I have no shame over it. Nothing looks better than saltwater hair.”
Roberts has shaken several hair colors over the years, including her natural brunette as well as different shades of blonde. The actress first debuted with her sunrise red locks in February.
