Emma Watson just revealed that she prefers to date people who haven’t seen her film.
The 35-year-old actress who is known for her role as Hermione Granger in Harry Potter Series, confessed that fame came at a prize in her personal life.
During her latest appearance at Jay Shetty’s Deliberately Podcast, Emma, explained, “It feels like my avatar unexpectedly enter the room, suddenly. And then I navigate a completely different conversation if someone hasn’t found out it’s me yet.”
“It can really feel dehumanizing and sometimes completely … seeing someone’s behavior completely switching and turning and changing can be a kind of lingering experience,” she added.
The Bling Ring Actress then joked that the dating world is “basically a complete disaster and free of everyone,” and added, “I feel like being in good company in that sense.”
“It’s funny, occasionally people will apologize for me for the fact that they haven’t seen my movies. And I will be like, ‘please don’t apologize. It’s happiness for me,'” Emma revealed to Jay.
She continued, “like, music to my ears, that you will not constantly navigate it. And me also navigating with you this projection of me, or this Emma Watson Avatar person will not be this ghost in space.”
Earlier, the actress admitted that the film industry left her feeling “a little cage” and that she did not feel very happy despite the fame and success she had gained.
The Little women Star told the tea Financial times“I wasn’t very happy if I’m honest. I think I felt a little cage.”
She also said, “What I found really hard was that I had to go out and sell something that I really didn’t have much control over.”
“Standing in front of a movie and getting every journalist to say, ‘How does it match your point of view?’ It was very difficult to have to be the face and spokesman for things where I was not involved in the process, ”Emma Watson concluded at the time.
