Emma Watson opened up to pretend Hollywood friendships during press trips.
During a recent chat about Deliberately Podcast, with the host Jay Shetty, admitted Emma that the film -throwing friendships that people watch during movie campaigns are mostly false.
“I think it was the other thing that was really difficult for movies,” she told the host. “You have to pretend. I think that’s the part that starts to feel icky after a while is that you have to pretend that you are all best friends.”
The Harry Potter Continued to say, “You are always asked when you promote these big movies, ‘So hanging in guys out on sets and are you all friends?’ And everyone who nods nods enthusiastically.
One of the reasons Emma shared that it is “mostly because the schedule is insane” and “everyone is so tired that when they get something free, you go right back to your hotel room to try to itch in any piece of rest that you might.”
But if they do “it is more of a solar eclipse than an everyday situation.”
Emma Futher noticed, “What’s so sad and I know this is not just the case for me, but I think people would wish they were.”
“I think we wish we had the real connections and we had the real support. So having to pretend that there is something you actually really want but don’t have is … pretty grain in the wound,” she added.
