A new iteration of Chuwis Minibook X, a light 10.5 -inch convertible laptop, has been released, bringing some of the charm once associated with netbooks – small, practical and very portable.
Powered by an Intel N150 processor paired with 12. Gen Intel UHD graphics are its performance limited compared to mainstream CPUs. However, the inclusion of 12 GB of DDR5 RAM and a 512 GB user-replaceable SSD provides the enough capacity for basic computer tasks.
Minibook X is a small Windows 11 Home -bearable computer that measures only 17.2 mm thick and weighs 920g. It has a room-gray chassis and a 10.51-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 1920 × 1200 and a 16:10 image ratio.
A portable laptop for basic tasks
One of the lightest laptops on the market, it has a 360-degree hinge that allows users to fold the screen behind the keyboard to use tablet style.
It supports Wi-Fi 6 (802.11AX1) and Bluetooth 5.2 and includes two Type-C ports, a 3.5mm audio plug and M.2 extensions. However, the absence of USB-A ports can limit the compatibility with some accessories.
Power is available via USB-C at up to 36W and the internal battery is rated for almost 29Wh.
While the processor limits the overall performance, the Minibook X’s compact size, full keyboard and touch screen provides flexibility. It can appeal to those looking for a budget-friendly laptop for note and document editing-such as students or mobile professionals.
Minibook X is price for $ 352 through Chuwis online store, but a promotional discount that runs through May 7, 2025, brings the price down to approx. $ 314.
