England will arrange the next three World Cup finals after the successful hosting of the first three Showpiece matches, the International Cricket Council (ICC) announced on Sunday.

The latest final took place last month when South Africa was crowned for masters for the first time after defeating holders Australia at Lord’s.

Nearly 110,000 people went through the gates on the London soil to a test that lasted four days.

India was reportedly eager to host the next final of two years, but England has been awarded the final of the editions 2027, 2029 and 2031.

At his annual conference in Singapore, ICC England’s “successful track record noticed to host recent finals”, although Ben Stokes page is not yet reached to the one -time show.

“We are absolutely pleased that England and Wales are chosen to host the next three ICC World Test Championship Finals,” said England and Wales Cricket Board CEO Richard Gould.

“It is a testimony to the passion that fans in this country have for this valued format of the game and the will of the follower from all over the world to travel here for these games.”

Nine teams dispute the WTC, and each nation plays six other sides-three homes and three away-to a two-year cycle.

Teams are ranked by percentage of won points because they play a different number of matches within these six series.
