EU antitrust regulators must decide on Google’s Wiz acquisition

  • EU decision must be made by February 10, US investigation is still ongoing
  • Google’s $32 billion acquisition of Wiz would be the biggest yet
  • Wiz vows to “remain a multicloud platform”

European antitrust authorities from the bloc’s Commission are due to issue a formal decision on Google’s acquisition of Wiz as early as February 10 per Pakinomist reporting.

Valued at $32 billion, it would be Alphabet’s largest acquisition ever if the deal goes through, but it’s not just European law that’s holding the deal back.
