Islamabad:
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Friday said the encouragement of the use of electric vehicles (EVs) will help save billions of dollars in valuable currency spent on fuel, support environmental protection efforts and promote the local industry.
Chairman of a meeting on encouragement for the use of electric vehicles in the country ordered the Prime Minister to prepare a comprehensive government level of action to make electric vehicles available to the common citizen.
He announced that the federal government will supply electrical bicycles to top priesting students in all educational boards across the country, including the federal board.
He further stated that unemployed persons will be provided with electric rickshaws and loaders with priority to support employment generation.
A briefing was given at the meeting on the current status of the industry in the country related to the manufacture of electric vehicles and the government’s supportive measures to make them available to ordinary people. It was informed at the meeting that the government took steps to facilitate the acquisition of electric bikes, rickshaws and loaders through cheap loans and easy terms.
More than 100,000 electric bikes and over 300,000 and loaders will be made available to the public under light loans and at low costs through government support.
The meeting was informed that under this scheme, students who are doing well at intermediate level in educational boards across the country will, including the federal board, get free electrical bicycles.
Civil service
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif emphasized the need to adapt the country’s civil service with modern technology and international standards of public service and its revitalization to improve efficiency.
The Prime Minister, who was chairman of a meeting on reforms of officials, said the official administration played a key role in the practical performance and the effective implementation of government policies across different ministries and sectors.
The extensive and effective reform of the official, a government’s priority, he conducted the inclusion of input from public representatives and government officials in administrative and institutional reforms of the official.
Agri Candidates
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed his joy on Friday when the first batch of about 300 Pakistani agricultural educated completed their practical practical education in China.
“Very heartfelt to know that the first batch of about 300 Pakistani agricultural educators has successfully completed their practical practical education in Shaanxi Province, China,” the prime minister wrote on his X-Time Line.
Profit on running account
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Friday, the increase in profits in the current account paid tribute to $ 2.1 billion in the 2024-2025 financial year.
In a statement, he said that profits on the current account had reached the highest level in the last 22 years, which was a very positive development.
“Due to government measures, currency reserves have crossed $ 19 billion,” he added.
