The provincial anti -corruption court has acquitted the former Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) Director -General Manzoor Kaka and others in the Nasla Tower Land Award Case due to lack of evidence. The court gave up that the prosecution could not prove the allegations.
The Supreme Court had ordered the demolition of the Nasla Tower in February 2022 and declared it an illegal structure.
It was claimed that the defendants had granted land to the developer illegally and deviated from approved plans. However, the prosecution could not present solid evidence, which led to acquittal.
