Taylor Lewan should stick to the trenches.
The former NFL -offensive Lineman was invited to throw the ceremonial first pitch on Thursday’s St. Louis Cardinals game and it was a big disappointment.
Lewan, in his honor, threw the course from 60 meters and 6 inches away as he shot the rubber at Busch Stadium.

Former Tennessee Titan, a Southpaw, was run, but sailed the ball closer to the first base of the deck circle than the home plate, and more people were within striking distance.
Fortunately for Lewan, no one was wounded, but a disgusted Lewan threw his hat to the field and punished with pushups.
“This is the worst day of my athletic career and it includes Chandler Jones game. I need redemption,” Posted Lewan on X and noticed the time Jones fired Ryan Tannehill five times.

Even Lewan’s former teammates in Tennessee, where he spent all nine of his NFL seasons, published a GIF of 50 cents notorious first pitch of 2013. The two are carbon copies.
But Lewan is due to a better performance next time.
“Don’t want to dwell on comments about ‘keeping my chin up’ coming from someone without one. No excuses. We must be better and there will be redemption,” he said in another post.

Lewan was named three consecutive Pro Bowls from 2016 to 2018.
