Michigan football coach Sherrone Moore is expected to earn a two-game-pension during the 2025 season as part of the school’s self-impaired sanctions from 2023 Connor Stalion’s Scouting scandal, several stores reported Monday.
Moore, named Wolverine’s main coach full time after Jim Harbaugh’s departure, was implicated in an alleged series of deleted text messages between him and stalls.
It is assumed that the messages had been exchanged the same day with news of the alleged character-staring scheme became public.

The messages were eventually restored via “Unit Department”, according to a draft of NCAA’s message of accusations obtained in 2024. While Michigan could face future sanctions from NCAA, the former Ohio State coach Urban Meyer for some harsh punishment – especially for Moore.
“If you are lying like a college football coach to NCAA, in my personal opinion, you are finished,” Meyer said on a recent edition of the “Triple Option Show.”
“It’s not to make a text message. It’s not going to lunch with someone you don’t need to lunch with. It doesn’t send a letter when you don’t have to,” Meyer said. “All the frivolous level triangles and all the rubbish.”

Meyer acknowledged that his opinion was tough, but he said the alleged actions were unacceptable.

“When they got you and they say, ‘Did you do that?’ And they refused to cooperate, or they refused, or they lied, in my very strong opinion, you have finished coaching in the college football or basketball division.

Stalls were suspended by Michigan in October 2023 and withdrew from its position with the football program the following month. He was appointed defensive coordinator at Detroit Mumford High School in August 2024.
Meyer Coachede Buckeyes to the national title after the regular season 2014, making Ohio State the winners of the initial college football playoffs. Ohio State defeated Notre Dame in January to demand his latest national championship.
