For more than a decade, Julian Edelman was coached by Bill Belichick. But in recent weeks, former New England Patriot’s coach’s results over his stored football career have largely taken a back seat for his romance with Jordon Hudson.
Hudson, Belichick’s 24-year-old girlfriend, was accused of trying to assert his control during the former NFL coach’s sitting down with “CBS News Sunday Morning.” Interviewed Was part of a promotional tour of Belichick’s new book, “The Art of Winning: Lessons From My Life in Football.”
In the middle of the fall, Edelman urges his former coach to return to his no-nonsense, football-first persona.

Bill Belichick reportedly exploring PR -Relocation after awkward TV interview
Edelman spent his entire NFL career with the patriots and won three Super Bowls along the way. He suffered an ACL injury on the forecast in 2017 in front of New England’s race for the Super Bowl Lii. The game gave birth to Eagles’ infamous “Philly Special” trick play.
Edelman argued that running drama creates a snowball effect that he ultimately leads to a distraction.

“Any time we do behind the scenes this, you have someone who represents you, they will jump in. But now, when it’s won and it’s snowballed to what it has become right now that we’re talking about it three weeks later, it’s become a distraction. That’s what we all think right now. This is becoming a distraction. We gotta practice, what we preach here.”
Cowherd took a more measured tone, suggesting he would avoid passing judgment.
“They both take advantage of this, her professionally and him something professional. So I don’t like to be a judge of this,” Cowherd warned.
While Edelman seemed to agree with Cowherd’s approach, he also highlighted how long Belichick’s personal life has been a gathering point.
“I don’t have it either, but again talked about these three weeks later … It’s on this, it’s on it,” Edelman said. “It’s coming to a point where we have to start worrying about ACC, (and Clemson trainer) Dabo Swinney. We shouldn’t talk about our girlfriend. And that’s how coach would say to us, so that’s the truth.
“When it comes to running a football organization and playing football, let’s make the most important thing the most important thing.”

During a recent edition of the “Dudes On Dudes” podcast, Edelman claimed that many of the people who analyzed Belichick’s situation lacked the right perspective.
“People give an unreasonable reality about what’s going on,” said the retired NFL -wide recipient. “Because she jumped into that conversation during the conversation, just as every PR person would jump in when there is an unnecessary question that (they) probably did not go over to the pre-production meeting.”
The viral conversation was not the first time Hudson’s apparent commitment to Belichick’s career faces headwinds. Critics talked about her reported commitment to North Carolina and lost the opportunity to appear on HBO’s “Hard Banks.” According to the athletic, Hudson had a “instrumental role” in HBO that pulled the plug on the potential production of the undeveloped documentates.
The report also noted that Hudson had asked to be “heavily involved in the project.”
Belichick, 73, has been publicly linked to Hudson since 2023. In a statement released after the CBS interview, Belichick declared that he met Hudson on a flight in 2021.
