The former Supreme Court Judge and President of the Missed Commission, Justice (R) Faqir Muhammad Khokhar, has died.
His family has confirmed the news of his death and states that his burial beans will be offered today, January 29, after the ASR prayer.
The funeral will take place in DHA Phase 8 (Park View), Lahore.
It is worth noting that just last week the government had informed the public that Faqir Muhammad (R) Muqir Muhammad had been named the new chairman of the missing commission that replaced Justice (R) Javed Iqbal, who had led the commission Since 2011.
On January 22, during a hearing of missed persons, the additional law lawyer stated the Supreme Court that the government had appointed Justice (R) Fakir Muhammad as the new head of the Commission and followed by Justice (R) Javed Iqbal.
Media reports show that Fakir Muhammad at the time he was appointed received treatment at a Lahore hospital.
