Former ESPN star Jeannine Edwards made her attitude towards transient athletes competing in girls and women’s sports in an interview Tuesday.

Edwards appeared on Outkick’s “Don’t @ Me with Dan Dakich” and said she couldn’t think there was a debate about the question in sports.

“I can’t believe we’ve even come to this point,” Edwards said. “I mean 50 years of title IX and all these decades working up to it and getting to the point where women could have equal access, equal opportunities, equal benefits, but they have to be in their own niche. Because let’s see what men have 60% more muscle mass, it doesn’t have anything whether you take heormones or not.

“It doesn’t matter if you say you identify yourself as a woman, I’m sorry that your physiology of your body as a man is very different from a woman’s body. Of the 1,025 people who identified themselves as Democrats or inclined Democratic, 67%said transnry athletes should not be allowed to compete with women. Among 1,022 Republicans, this number was 94%.
