“Like a former Viking -team captain who grew up a Viking fan -my dad has been a Viking fan since 1972 -I’ve never been so disgusted and embarrassed to even have any connection to the Minnesota Vikings brand. I think I’m talking for a lot of other past players and Viking fans when I say this one does not represent this great franchise.”
“Now we are represented with men with pom-poms on the sidelines. It’s sick. No people ever need to have a pom-pom in hand.”
Brewer added that he believes that the inclusion of men on the cheerleading trop is an attempt to “manipulate children.”
“This is purely an attempt to manipulate young children and overtake the mind of young children with this spiritual evil,” Brewer said. “The influence on the children manipulates the children’s mind. They teach young boys that it is okay to have pom-poms and cheer and act like women.”
Brewer believes this will especially affect “minority” boys.
“This is Directly Preying on the Vulnerable… Particularly of Minority Families, The Vast Majority of Them Live with Their Mamas. They Don’t Live With Their Dad, The Majority Live With Their Mamas. So You Take These Kids That Are AlREADY LIVING WITH THEIR MAMA, AIN’T GOT OM MASKULINITY You War In Their Mind In What Has Been Known To The World As The Most Masculine Sport, The Most Masculine Team Sport In The World, and You’re Starting to Feminize That In Front of These Children, “Brewer said.
The Vikings are not the first team to employ male cheerleaders. The Los Angeles Rams was the first organization to have male cheerleaders in 2018. Baltimore Ravens also contained several men on their cheerleading teams.
Meanwhile Carolina Panthers Had the first trans -fun cheerleader on his team until this year.
However, Vikings’ situation has become a conversation about national debate in the midst of Sheik and Conn’s recent social media posts. The team has stood by the two men and confirms that the team is “proud” to have them on the sidelines for this coming season.
“Male cheerleaders have been part of previous Viking teams and has long been associated with Collegiate and Professional Cheerleading,” the Vikings told NBC News. “We all support our cheerleaders and are proud of the role they play as ambassadors for the organization.”

Senator Tommy Tuberville, R-ala., Weighed on the controversy during an interview about Outkicks “Hot Mic” On Tuesday.
“I want to ask the ownership of the NFL and the Commissioner, what the hell are you doing?” he said. “You’ve got # 1 sport on planet Earth with regard to people who see it. Your business is growing, it’s getting better and better. There are some ways you’ve been trying to attack it for the past 10-15 years, but you’ve been able to resist it.
“But if you wake up and you will try to take the men out of men’s sports, which is what you are doing. They are trying to take sex and say, ‘Ok, we will do it more about gender than we are about masculinity.’ Then you will have a huge problem.
Tuberville warned that fans can stop buying tickets for games if male cheerleaders become more widespread.
“People will actually end to buy tickets because this is the story they are trying to push. This is not just about a few people who are men cheerleaders,” Tuberville said. “It’s about pushing for a story that you want to put gender in sports and tell everyone that we are trying to show, ‘Hi, we’ll take the masculinity out of it a little.'”
Brewery praised Tuberville for his recent statements.
“Thank goodness of Tommy Tuberville, who came out with a strong statement that stood up against it – one of the greatest college – football coach in the history of the game – because he knows he has a voice. He is trying to speak, not only for his perspective, but for the perspective of the great majority of coaches, players and even fans. to see “? “Said Brewer.

“Do you think they are coming to see men with pom-poms, or do they come to watch hard nose football played at a high level with athletes, great acting, great athletes and actual talented female cheerleaders on the sidelines with some male cheerleaders who are there to pick them up and throw them, catch them, but not to wave pom-poms?”
It’s Sheik’s first year as Vikings cheerleader. He shared a post back in May and celebrated his rookie season. Conn was part of Iowa State Cyclones Dance Team before joining the Vikings this season.
