As with OnePlus Watch 2The extra battery life is made possible via double chip set, with Wear OS 5 powered by Snapdragon W5 and the real-time operating system (RTOS) powered by a secondary BES2800 MCU chip. By switching from high -power to low power operating systems, OnePlus Watch 3 is able to optimize the life of the battery.
Larger battery life
In an exclusive interview with Techradar, Celina Shi, Chief Marketing Officer for OnePlus Europe, told me: “Our software switches seamless operations between these two chipset that enables the OnePlus Watch 3 to run with maximum efficiency and beat the perfect balance between spinning Battery life.
“In addition, we have increased the battery capacity to 631mAh and equipped it with the OnePlus Silicon Nanostack battery, the same technology used in our latest flagship smartphone, OnePlus 13, which significantly increases the energy density for prolonged power.”

When asked what the longer battery life means to those who want to track their sleep (an important adhesive point for watches with shorter battery lids), Shi suggested increased focus on sleep tracking this round. “We bring more accuracy to our sleep tracking features to give people rich data about their sleep patterns and quality. Hardware, the OnePlus Watch 3 has introduced a rotating digital crown, just like Best Apple Watchessat next to his titanium Bezel (upgraded from 2’s stainless steel) and Sapphire Crystal Face. Adventure and fitness features
Shi couldn’t tell us much about OnePlus Watch 3’s health and fitness features, but the trend in modern smartwatches is greater and robust, as is seen by the success of the Apple Watch Ultra, Galaxy Watch Ultra and countless tarmer. The OnePlus Watch 3 is large and chunky as its predecessor and nods to this trend with its harder titanium and sapphire crystal components. Its two colors available at the launch, Obsidian Titanium (black) and Emerald Titanium (Green) are also very outdoor coded.
In terms of health and fitness, Shi said: “Ultimately, our focus on OnePlus Watch 3 has been to provide very accurate fitness and sleep tracking tools that last longer than you need it – and look good while doing it.
“We have plenty to share at the launch of durability, but so far we are sure to say that it will be able to keep up with you for any activity you are planning, in every state.”
