According to Rescue 1122, the incident happened when a street vendor identified as Rashid Golewala fried chips on his rickshaw car when the gas cylinder suddenly exploded.

“The wounded include five children who had come to buy chips from the wagon,” said rescue officials.

All wounded were rushed to Sheikh Zayed Hospital’s Burn Unit for medical treatment. Authorities are investigating the cause of the explosion.
