For Bijan Robinson, his influence on the field is only half the story he wants to tell about himself.

After contributing to the University of Texas in Austin, Robinson was the eighth overall election of the 2023 NFL draft of Atlanta Falcons.

He rushed for more than 1,400 meters in his breakout campaign last season. But when he is not leading Falcons’ violation, he does what he can to make an impact in his community.

The Star Running Back collaborated with Aunt Anne to share the joy of reading with the launch of Knead & Read, a nationwide literacy program. Parents or teachers help students set a reading goal and children can track their progress using a special knead and read bookmark available for download online or in their local Aunt Anne’s store. They are then able to get a free pastry.

“It’s something we’re celebrating and it’s a great achievement for kids and teens and families. Everyone obviously loves Aunt Anne’s, so they’ll enjoy it too. It’s super cool and watching the children’s faces, it’s pretty amazing,” Robinson told Pakinomist Digital in a recent interview.

“On the field I have been blessed and God gave me a gift on the field so I can do things like this from the field. It is important to perform for my team, but when I have opportunities like this, to collaborate with Aunt Anne’s, it is greater than football. We get to incorporate things like reading and things that people may not know that these kinds do, it makes it so much more more resources, they may not see their favorite play or see Aunt’s anne.

Robinson can make the same kids very happy by helping Falcons reach their first postal season since the 2017 season. Atlanta is currently 2-2 with an up-and-down campaign so far.

In week 1, kicking evils contributed to a 23-20 loss. They then took off the Vikings easily before a devastating 30-0 loss to Carolina Panthers. But they came back on the field with a 34-27 win the last weekend against Jayden Daniels-less Washington commanders.

Falcons had a chance to get an playoffs last year, but ended up with an 8-9 record after three equal seasons of walking 7-10. But after helping the local community, Robinson has eyes on bringing Falcons back to the same community wants his favorite team.

“We just have to continue playing with an edge, take everything one week at a time, and you know, make sure every game is a championship game for us because it’s,” Robinson said. “Each game is so important. We can’t look ahead to nobody, we have to focus on who we focus on that week and put on so much heart and effort in the week we play. If we do things the right way and remain consistent and take it one game at a time, I feel we will be hard to stop. That’s the biggest thing we need to do to achieve that goal we want to achieve.”
