MURREE:
The fallen state of Rawalpindi-Murree Road has made trips on the most important touristhighway extremely difficult.
After the deep excavation on this path from Chitta’s mother to Bansara Gali, who has been pulled out due to the slow construction work, the route has been plagued by dust and collapse that pose daily challenges for tourists, local and schoolchildren. Accidents on the road have become a norm. Many have also begun to suffer from neck and respiratory diseases.
The Punjab government had provided a billion funds for the construction of the road, but rehabilitation and construction of the road could not be completed before the season. Due to Murree Highway Division’s negligence, people face serious problems. Public circles have demanded the immediate rehabilitation of the road and said that despite the release of funds for reconstruction and rehabilitation of Rawalpindi-Murree-Kashmir Road.
