Islamabad:
The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Immigration Unit detained four passengers in the new Islamabad International Airport to try to travel to Lithuania using counterfeit resident cards.
According to a spokesman for Crime Agency, the passengers, all brothers from Jhelum, were offloaded and taken into custody after their documents brought suspicion during immigration control.
The incident took place during the check -in process for flight J2144, which was on its way to Baku, Azerbaijan.
The travelers intended to continue to Lithuania after reaching Baku. After inspection, immigration officials found that the Lithuanian resident cards were false.
