Social media users worked out Kansas City Chiefs Kicker Harrison Butker as one of Travis Kelce’s groomsmen for his wedding with Taylor Swift after the couple announced their commitment.
Butker was facing criticism last year for a tro-based starting speech when he called on female candidates to embrace to be a “home-agent” and criticized the LGBTQ community and then President Joe Biden for his attitude towards abortion. He added, “[T]Hings such as abortion, IVF, surrogati, euthanasia as well as a growing support for the degenerate cultural values and media are all from a pervasive disorder. “

“I wouldn’t say I’m a ‘Swiftie’, but I got to meet her after our New Year’s games,” said Butker on Ewtn News’ “In Depth.” “We had just squeezed AFC West – and I rarely go out ever. But it’s New Year, have to get the champagne and enjoy the ball that fell and all that. I went to a party … Travis showed up and Taylor was there and I met her and she was just so humble and so gracious.”
Butker said he didn’t think Swift was growing up around football, and Swift expressed her amazement that he could kick the ball so far. He added that he was a “little nervous” of meeting the pop star.
“I hope those who I said at Georgia Tech, I hope they marry and start a family.”

Swift and Kelce dated for about two years before announcing their commitment.
