This expansion is part of an ongoing effort to make the passport application process faster and more accessible to citizens in these regions.
The DG has directed Zonal Managers to ensure that the newly added locations start offering the Fast Track services without delay.
In addition, the Director (Databases) has been tasked with updating the Passport Processing System (PPS) to reflect these changes and include the new cities in the Fast Track category.
The notification, which was issued by Assistant Director (Policy-I) Hafiz Abdul Nasir, has been circulated to all relevant authorities, including the Director General of Pakistan Post, to ensure proper implementation and widespread awareness of the extended service.
With this initiative, the Directorate-General aims to provide more efficient passport processing, significantly reducing waiting times for applicants across the newly added cities.
