A man and his young son were killed after being hit by a train, while reportingly filming a Tiktok video near the railway tracks in Landhi, Karachi.
According to the railway police, the incident found near Landhi Railway Station when Rehman Baba Express, who was heading for Karachi, hit the two victims. Rescue workers from Chhipa and the Railway Police arrived at the scene and moved the bodies to Jinnah Hospital for legal formalities.
Customs Manager Asi Ramzan confirmed that the deceased was identified as 45-year-old Jamil and his five-year-old son, Sabihullah.
“Initial reports suggest they made a Tiktok video near the tracks when the accident took place,” Ramzan said. “However, we are further investigating to determine the exact circumstances of the incident.”
Authorities have called on the public to show caution near railway tracks and avoid risky activities, such as movie videos in uncertain places.
