FAZL rejects KP -Miner, Minerals Bill

Peshawar:

Jamat Disadvanta-e-Islam-Fazl (Jui-F) Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman said on Wednesday that Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP) The government’s proposed mines and minerals Bill was unacceptable when it violated the provincial autonomy.

Fazl said the law and order situation was poor in Balochistan and KP, where Jui-F leaders and supporters were targeted at a press conference in Peshawar and said the law and order situation was poor in Balochistan and KP, where JUI-F leaders and supporters were targeted. He also opposed the forced repatriation of the Afghan refugees.

FAZL called KP’s mines and minerals an attack on provincial autonomy. “The union wants to seize the province’s resources,” he said. “If the government wants to do minerals, we are not against it, but the autonomy, resources, resources and rights of the provinces should not be affected,” he added.

“We are not too the bill because it means depriving the province of the province with its resources,” Fazl told journalists, added that the government should consider about this matter. “That government is not coming to the sense we would go to the people.”

The Jui-F chief emphasized that there should be no violation of the 18th constitutional amendment. He warned that mines and mineral bills could lead to foreign intervention. “We do not accept any changes in the 18th amendment.”

Fazl said the decision made by the merger of previously federally administered tribal areas (FATA) with KP should not have been made in a hurry. “Now it is not known what is the current status of the tribal areas, whether merged or has a separate status,” he said.

When he talked about repatriation of the Afghan refugees, Fazl said this issue was raised in 2017 when refugees were asked to return from here, and at that time he had suggested that refugees be divided into categories.

When he elaborates, he said the first category would be of those who had acquired professional skills and Pakistan could benefit from them; The second category included business people and investors and the third category of students and the ordinary people.

He suggested that the two countries should introduce a common mechanism to their return. “The way refugees return is a violation of humanitarian rights and international organizations should be aware of it. But if refugees voluntarily go back, there should be no objection to it.”

FAZL announced that a meeting in Jui-F Central Council had been called on April 19 and 20. He also announced that the party would contact other parties on the mineral and mineral proposal. He also announced plans for a million March in Minar-E-Pakistan on April 27 and in Peshawar on May 11.
