Islamabad:
Jui-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has strongly criticized former US President Donald Trump’s comments on Gaza and urged the Pakistani government and establishment to take a clear attitude that really represents the nation’s conscience.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman confirmed his attitude towards Palestine, rejected Israeli occupation, and emphasized that Palestinians have an undeniable right to their country. He condemned the statements of Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during their meeting and called it an insult to the Muslim Ummah, which he said is united in protest.
The Jui-F chief claimed that the Palestinian struggle is a legitimate struggle for freedom, labeling Israel as a Zionist occupation that has never been recognized by the Palestinian people. He declared that the entire Muslim Ummah is stuck with the Palestinians in their resistance.
He also recalled Trump of America’s failure in Afghanistan, saying, “You tried to occupy Afghanistan and spilled blood for 20 years, introduced war and violated human rights – but you were facing a humiliating defeat.” Fazl condemned Israel’s 15 -month assault on Gaza, performed with US support that made Gaza and Khan Younis ruins.
