Trailer after trailer sends chills to fans as the notorious killer Pennywise is on the hunt in It: Welcome to Derry.
It’s a prequel to the original movie, as shown in the official Red Band Trailer; The children are again the prey for the monster.
The brain behind the series, Andy Muschietti, in a previous interview with Radio TuShared the story will be “told behind” in the show with three seasons.
“It’s a story based on the book’s intervals. The cohesions are basically chapters that reflect Mike Hanlon’s research,” he noted.
“They are fragments of his research. For 27 years it is the guy who tries to find out what it is, what did it, who did it that saw it and all that,” the filmmaker added.
He continued, “so they talk about catastrophic events of the past, like the fire of the black place …
“Whenever [Pennywise] Comes out of hibernation, there is a catastrophic event that happens at the beginning of this cycle. ”
“There’s a reason the story is told backwards. So the first season is 1962, the second season is 1935, and the third season is 1908,” shared Andy.
It: Welcome to Derry Falling on HBO Max on October 26.
