According to reports, officials of the Ministry of Finance have stated that Eid-Ul-Fitr is expected to fall on March 31 or April 1. As a result, the federal government has decided to pay wages and pensions to government employees before Eid.
According to the announcement issued by the Ministry of Finance, it has been decided that government employees will receive their salary on March 27.
The announcement also stated that pensions for pensioners are also paid on the same day.
In addition, the Ministry of Finance has sent a letter to Controller General for accounts regarding payment of wages and pensions.
