Hyderabad:
The Supreme Court’s righteousness Salahuddin Panhwar has complained that the feudal system, bandits and drugs have poorly gripped and crippled the people of Sindh.
The judge, who talked about the legal fraternity of the District Bar Association Umerkot, said that Larkana and the Sukkur divisions have been bound by the tentacles of feudal gentlemen and bandits, while the drug culture has swept over the districts of Hyderabad and Mirpurkha’s division.
“Generations are destroyed,” he regretted. “The lives of ordinary people and families are destroyed.” He maintained that if the stories of survival of such people are shared with the people of the civilized and developed world, the latter will be amazed to see how their fellow human beings can stay alive in such situations.
The judge also regretted that the cases of illegally occupying countries also often occur in Sindh, although this problem has ceased to exist in other parts of the world. He said that the Cooperation Society Act was legislated to favor the poor people, workers and peasants, but that its advantage is currently being taken by the rich people.
He also commented on the quality of education in Sindh and pointed out that the students in Umerkot do not have access to computers to study in the digital era. “Two classes have been set up in Sindh. The poor send their children to government schools and the other classes educate their children in the private sector.”
Justice Panhwar confused that society has been compromised instead of pursuing and securing their rights. He urged the judges, lawyers, journalists and other important segments in society to try to realize the problems that affect the people and to base their decisions on the truth. “Our decisions should be public centrical and take care of people’s fundamental rights.”
In the apartment, the district bar’s presidential lawyer Shareef Bheel presented a charter of demands, called for action against drugs, provided health and education facilities, establishment of sports grounds and control of deteriorating law and order. Apex Court’s judge also visited some schools and colleges.
