When Caitlin Clark announced earlier this month, she would miss for the rest of the season, many towel in the Indiana fever season. But the fever never did.
Indiana advances to the WNBA semi-finals for the first time since 2015 despite Clark’s injury following an exciting 87-85 victory in a decisive game 3 against Atlanta Dream.
Aliyah Boston made the leading basket with 7.4 seconds left, and Lexie Hull stole the subsequent inbound game to get the victory.

Indiana closed on a 7-0 race to win its first playoff series of 10 years.
Boston was left alone under the curve for a light set up after Brionna Jones went to earth while walking on a loose ball. It gave Indiana an 86-85 lead, the first since it was 33-30 in the second quarter.
Kelsey Mitchell led Indiana with 24 points and Boston had 14 points, 12 rebounds and six assists. Odyssey Sims had 16 points and eight assists and Natasha Howard added 12 points. Sophie Cunningham has also cared for an injury.

Clark’s second year in WNBA was, to say the least, plagued by injuries. But it was a groin injury she sustained in the game before the All-Star break, which eventually cost her the rest of the 2025 season.
A Forsy season favorite to win MVP, Clark played only 13 games this year for the fever. She dealt with a quad tribe earlier this year before suffering from her current disorders. She average 16.5 points, 8.8 assists and five rebounds over 31.1 minutes per day. Match.

The sixth seed fever plays on Sunday against No. 2 Seed Las Vegas Aces, which has made three of the last five WNBA finals.
