Fia Busts gangs selling illegal sims

On Saturday, the authorities allegedly arrested five people part of an organized gang responsible for the sale of illegal international SIM cards in the country.

Fia Cyber ​​Crime Wing rounded these people under a raid in rawalpindi. The FIA ​​team was helped by officials in PTA.

According to the FIA ​​spokesman, the accused SIM cards sold through social media. These SIM cards, he said, were used in illegal activities, including kidnapping for ransom, extortion and online fraud.

The defendants were identified as Muhammad Mudassir, Muhammad Amir, Muhammad Zakaria, Syed Noor and Wajih Mahmood.

During the raid, the FIA ​​confiscated from their detention 335 SIM cards and five mobile phones.

The FIA ​​has begun investigation from the defendants. The agency also performs several attacks to arrest their accomplices, the spokesman added.
