A Lahore Judge Judge ordered the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to continue in accordance with the law if any cognitive offense was made after receiving the statement from the disadvantage of the board of a petition seeking a four against former President Dr. Arif Alvi over his alleged blasphemous remarks in a video circulating on social media.
However, additional district and sessions disposed Shafqat Shahbaz Raja the petition, filed by Shehzada Adnan through lawyer Mudassir Chaudhry, claiming former President Alvi had used alleged blasphemous language on a video circulated on the Internet.
The FIA said in his response to the petition that a regular examination had been registered and marked to Abdul Basit, Sub -Inspector of National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA). The petitioner acceded to the investigative procedure and presented proof of his complaint.
The topic video of former President Alvi had been sent to the Disadvantage of a Fatwa, and the procedure would be completed solely on profits after receiving the response from the board. The FIA said the investigative officer should continue further after receiving the opinion of the disadvantage of the disadvantage.
The petitioner’s lawyer opposed FIA’s attitude and claimed that Undery Fatwa had no relevance to the registration of FIR. He also argued that not everything in the video clip was audible.
Judge Raja, however, disposed of the petition, which ordered the FIA to conclude the case after receiving a response from the Disadvantaged Board and, if a cognitive violation was made to continue under the law.
Previously, another court had rejected the petition because the petitioner had approached an inappropriate forum. This court noted that the government had created NCCIA to address social media -related questions. Therefore, the petitioner could contact NCCIA for compensation for his complaint.
