Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, chief of staff, hosted a high-level dinner to pay tribute to Pakistan’s political leadership, armed forces and citizens for their unity and resilience during Operation Bunyanum Marsoos, according to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The distinguished collection was adorned by the honorable president of Pakistan, Mr. Asif Ali Zardari; The Honorable Prime Minister, Mr. Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif; Deputy Prime Minister/ Foreign Minister; Chairman Senate; Speaker National Assembly; Federal Ministers; Governors; Main Ministers; Chairman Joint Chief of Staff of the Staff Committee; Chief of Air & Naval Staff; Senior leadership of major political parties; High -ranking Government Officers; and senior officers from the three services.
In his remarks, Coas ASIM Munir thanked political leaders for their foresight and credited seamless coordination between services for operational success during the conflict.
He also praised the country’s youth and media for effectively counteracting disinformation efforts from India and described them as a “steel wall” against hostile tales.
He also praised the role of political scientists, engineers and diplomats whose contributions proved crucial during surgery.

The collection was completed with a shared confirmation of unity, patriotism and collective decision to move forward with strength and purpose.
