Field Marshal General Asim Munir visited forward positions along the control line (LOC) on Saturday to celebrate Eidul Azha with troops.
The visit began with Eid beans, where special requests were offered to national peace, stability and prosperity, as well as in honor of martyrs who gave their lives to Pakistan’s defense.
Army Chief, who expanded Eid greetings to officers and soldiers, praised their professional expertise, unshakable dedication and resilience in light of continued challenges. He said he celebrated Eid on the front line away from loved ones, reflected their deep commitment to national service.
Gen Munir praised the role of formation in recent operations, especially Marqa-E-Haq and Operation Bunyaanum Marsoos and paid tribute to the martyrs and Ghazis.
“You have appropriately revenge the loss of innocent life, including women and children, through your bold and effective answer,” he noted.
During his interaction, the Cheif of Army Staff (Coas) recognized the troops’ high morals, operational emergency preparedness and vigilance in counteracting Indian ceasefire violations. He repeated full confidence in the military’s ability to deter and defeat any aggression.
Field Marshal Munir confirmed Pakistan’s principle attitude towards Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) by tackling the wider regional context and confirming Pakistan’s principle attitude towards Indian illegally possessed Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK). He emphasized the need to solve Kashmir -Tvisten in accordance with Kashmiri’s ambitions and the UN Security Council’s decisions.
Coas was received at LOC by the commander of Rawalpindi Corps upon arrival.
