The CDF reiterated the army’s zero tolerance policy towards threats to national security

Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defense Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir visited Lahore Garrison on Thursday where he was briefed on the formation’s operational readiness, training standards and measures aimed at enhancing combat effectiveness, the military’s media wing said.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the army chief observed a specialized field training exercise that demonstrated the use of modern technologies, reflecting the military’s focus on innovation and adaptability to meet future battlefield challenges.
During the visit, Field Marshal Munir also inspected sports and recreational facilities provided to the troops, emphasizing their role in maintaining physical fitness, morale and general well-being.

He later visited a High Care Center at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Lahore where he praised the medical staff and administration for establishing a fully equipped, modern health centre.
In an address to officers, the army chief reiterated the army’s zero-tolerance policy towards threats to national security, reaffirming the military’s willingness to respond to changing challenges with professionalism and resolve.
He said the armed forces remain committed to protecting Pakistan’s sovereignty, territorial integrity and internal stability while promoting discipline, excellence and selfless national service.
