Referring to recent regional tensions, Field Marshal Munir said that “in a nuclear environment there is no room for war” and warned India that its pursuit of aggression risks destabilizing the region. He added that the enemy’s use of Fitna al-Hindustan and Fitna al-Khawarij as “hired weapons” reveals its “cowardly, hypocritical and despicable face” to the world.

“Fitna al-Khawarij” is the term for terrorists associated with the outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), while “Fitna al-Hindustan” refers to Indian-backed extremist proxies. COAS Munir said both represent threats to peace and are being confronted decisively.

He noted that Pakistan’s recent military operations, Marka-e-Haq and Bunyanum Marsoos, had strengthened national confidence by defeating the enemy through professional skill and determination. The armed forces, he said, destroyed several enemy bases, including S-400 systems, demonstrating Pakistan’s multi-domain warfare.

Field Marshal Munir referred to Pakistan’s victory in the May 2025 conflict with India as a “defining” moment that earned respect from the international community. He accused India of presenting “fabricated evidence” and politicizing terrorism for domestic political purposes.

He condemned Indian state-sponsored terrorism in Kashmir and reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to provide political, diplomatic and moral support to the Kashmiri people until the dispute is resolved in accordance with UN Security Council resolutions and their aspirations.

Commenting on Afghanistan, COAS Munir urged the Taliban regime to rein in militant proxies using Afghan soil to launch attacks inside Pakistan. He said the recent border clashes, sparked by unprovoked Afghan shelling, prompted a swift and precise Pakistani response, leading to a 48-hour ceasefire.
